Fashion Friday – for the family

You may have noticed there was not a Fashion Friday post last Friday. I was also away enjoying a family vacation at the beach. Now that I have returned, this Friday I have put together a few outfit combinations for families! You can always go with classic black and white or bring some color into the palette. Make sure your whole family is comfortable and they dress for their own personal style. Don’t feel as if you must dress in the same exact outfit but be sure to compliment one another. Feel free to coordinate colors. Try not to use too many different print patterns and you can’t go wrong. Check out the Harmon Family session from Kristen’s previous post. They did a great job with their family wardrobe!
This will be my last Fashion Friday. I hope this has helped you plan for your photo sessions. We will still be doing posts about other FAQs that we receive from clients, including other hot topics and inspiration ideas for weddings and lifestyle sessions so stay tuned. Happy Friday!

This week’s Fashion Friday is going to be a little different. I have recently become obsessed with accessories and I wanted to share a new line with you that will fulfill all of your jewelry cravings throughout all seasons of the year.

I’m starting something new for the Overbay Photography blog! For all of you out there who are regular followers of our blog we really appreciate you keeping up with our work. We LOVE what we do! As an assistant photographer with Overbay Photography, I have decided to play a more active role in blogging and I am starting a new series that we are calling “Fashion Fridays.”

Clients often ask us “What should I wear to my photo session?” So we have decided to put together some tips to help you out with your wardrobe selections. Our first post is for those SENIOR girls out there!

The idea is to always wear something that suits your style and that you are comfortable in. Try jewel sandals and crop pants with a flirty top. Or combine a bright color dress with your favorite pumps, hair accessories and Stella & Dot jewelry. Or you can go vintage by wearing items that you might find in a thrift store! We encourage outfit changes for all our sessions. Just have fun with it!!!
