2011 Tri-Cities Holiday Mini Sessions

This year’s holiday mini sessions were a blast! Heather and I were constantly on the move but had so much fun photographing all of these families. Christy Lynn Brown–6 month Session

Little Miss Christy Lynn Brown is my former co-worker’s daughter. She is 6 months old now and a ball of fun! I couldn’t get enough of her giggles at our recent holiday session. Maggie and Dwight welcomed me, once again, into their home and we had a great time! We were also able to capture a few non-holiday shots to commemorate her turning 6 months. Chalmers Family–Holiday Mini Session

Meet my friends, Meg and Sean Chalmers, along with their adorable little boy, Sam! We had a mini session in downtown Knoxville this past weekend just in time for the holidays. Meg is a good friend of mine from college and you might remember, she actually designed my new logo earlier this year! Their family recently made the move back to Knoxvegas from St Petersburg, FL. We are so happy to have them back and now as a part of our young married couples small group bible study. Little Sam is just a joy to be around! Here are some favorites from their holiday session below.

Byers Family

The Byers family won a sitting fee with Overbay Photography from a Waverly Road Childcare Center Auction I donated to earlier this year. I was happy to fit them in this time of year for a full session at the Allandale Mansion property. Alexandra, Pierce, and Jacqueline are a lot of fun! You might remember them from their previous session in downtown Kingsport last year. They even brought their dog, Nutmeg, for some more photos this year. Take a look at some favorites below…

Jones Family–Holiday Mini Session

I am so happy I was able to photograph this family again during this holiday season! The Jones have been great clients of mine over the years and I adore their little girls, Campbell and Carter, who are growing ever so quickly! Lindsay always finds the cutest outfits for them to wear and they always coordinate so well!! Take a look at some of my favorites from their mini holiday session in downtown Kingsport.

Parrish Family

I am so happy this family recently made the move to Tennessee! I met Julie and Ray thru Julie’s brother, Stephen, who I met several years ago on a Campus Crusade Summer Project in New York City. You might remember Stephen from some expecting photos I took of he and his wife in Charleston not long ago. The Parrish’s moved here for Ray’s job and have joined our bible study small group that meets every Tuesday night. We are so excited to have them as part of our group. Their baby, Cole, is 10 months old and makes me wish I had a little boy just like him. Here are some photos from a session we had last month at the Cove at Concord Park. Brady Hall and Family

It’s been a little while since I had seen this little guy and my how he has grown! I photographed him last at 11 weeks in his adorable nursery. Brady is now 1 year old!! Bounds Family

The Bounds Family is one of my favorite families! I have enjoyed getting to know them over the years growing up attending the same church. I still remember what great hosts they were when I stayed at their home while leading a small group of girls on a youth retreat weekend. Garrett, their son, just returned from a year long stint with Campus Crusade in Argentina. He got home just in time for this special family photo session which was a surprise for their mom’s birthday. Welcome back Garrett and to all of the Bounds I hope you enjoy your photos!

Luke Bailey–6 months

Luke Bailey is 6 months! This was my third session with the Bailey’s in our third different city. I have enjoyed photographing them since they were expecting in Kingsport, when Luke had just arrived as a newborn in Nashville, and now they made the trip to Knoxville to see me for his 6 month session. I do not think we could have picked a better day to take these photos at the Cove at Concord Park. It was gorgeous! Luke was the perfect little model full of personality and giggles. Thomas Kids–Hunter & Savannah

This brother and sister pair was probably one of my favorites to work with this year! Such sweet siblings. Hunter is obviously a terrific big brother to his little sister, Savannah. As you can see they had a lot of fun posing at the UT Gardens for their session. I have posted a few favorites along with a slide show below. Enjoy!
