Jessica Coomer and Robert Harmon are high school sweethearts!!! Their relationship began many years ago and has grown ever since. They both graduated from the University of Tennessee and now they are ready for the next chapter in their lives. Robert proposed to Jessica in my favorite city – NYC! They will be tying the knot on May 19, 2012. We are so excited for their big day! This couple was a breeze to photograph. You can see how naturally happy they are together. Bieniek/Lynn Engagement Session

Christine and Kevin are getting married in 2013! I am looking forward to shooting their big day and was really excited they wanted to go ahead and take some engagement photos to remember this special time in their lives. I met up with the couple in downtown Knoxville. We enjoyed walking around Crutch Park near Market Square and took some more shots on Gay Street. Stefan + Nicole Engagements: Cades Cove

My husband and I met Stefan and Nicole for their engagement session at Cades Cove. The fall leaves were at their peak and it seemed like everyone in East Tennessee chose to visit the Great Smoky Mountains on that particular weekend. It took almost 1 hour to go 6 miles around the loop but it was WORTH IT! The views were breath-taking and once we finally met up with Stefan and Nicole we had a great time capturing photos of them as a newly engaged couple. Take a look at some of our favorites below…

Bertasi/Brough Engagements

Madeline and Danny were such a joy to work with! They were in town for the UT game and I was thrilled when they asked that I fit them in for an engagement session. We will be photographing their wedding next June in Memphis, TN. This will be our second wedding in Memphis and we cannot wait!! Dodson/Cheatam–Engagement Session

This bride-to-be, Lauren Dodson, contacted me only 2 short months ago about photographing her wedding in November. No, not November 2012…THIS November, 2011! That’s only 1 month away from today!! I thought she had her work cut out for herself planning a wedding with such a short engagement but I guess when you’re in love, like these two so clearly are, why wait?! I was happy to turn around her engagements quickly so that she won’t have to miss out on any of the fun stuff. She has ordered an enlarged engagement photo canvas as well as one of our storybook guestbooks that I cannot wait to design. Coming Soon! My husband assisted me at this engagement session at World’s Fair Park where the infamous sun-sphere is located. The couple’s wedding reception will be held there and you might notice we incorporated it into the background of a lot of these photos. After that we headed downtown to the location of their first date–Regal Cinema’s on Gay St. I just love downtown Knoxville at dusk! Such an exciting place for dinner and a date night at the movies!
