Not just any spot would do though. We were thrilled when they asked my husband and I to travel to the east coast to help capture their special day. Prior to the ceremony all of the wedding guests joined the happy couple for a brunch at Firefly Restaurant . After a delicious meal and toasts by close family and friends, I joined the girls back at “Big Mama’s House” to prep for the day. My husband, Jesse, was a huge help that day and was able to follow the guys around as they went to scope out Pea Island. Once the perfect spot was chosen, Justin and Susan tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on the sand. It couldn’t have been any sweeter! We cannot wait until their big day and you can tell by the look on their faces in these photos–they can’t either! Paige and Darin are such a sweet, fun-loving couple. We had a blast shooting these engagement photos. Some of my favorites this year by far! I am really looking forward to photographing Paige’s bridal portraits in Roan Mtn. this weekend. Those photos, however, will be kept under wraps until after 7/14. Stay tuned! For now, be sure to watch their engagement slide show below.
