Jesse and I just got back from a long weekend get away in Charleston, SC. We had a FANTASTIC time staying right in the middle of downtown, exploring the city- taking in all the sights, and we even had the chance to have some professional photos taken of the two of us.
It was just time for an update! The first photos you’ll see are some of our own during our time there but the rest are a little sneak preview of our time with Matt and Jenna of Matt Daniel Photography. When Jesse first started planning this trip for my birthday he contacted my college friend, Leslie Walker, to see if she could take some photos of us as a little birthday surprise. Well, when he found out that she was completely booked during our visit we were bummed, but then she suggested that we contact her friend Matt with MDP. Luckily, Matt and his wife, Jenna, made some time for us even though they are incredibly busy between wedding season and spending time with their adorable son Eli (whom I’ve only seen pictures of). The rest is history!
Even after only the short time we spent with Matt and Jenna I knew these were two people I could see myself staying connected with for a really long time. I have thoroughly enjoyed looking through old blog posts and reading stories about their lives and those that are dear to them. I LOVE finding out what makes people tick! Most of all I am super excited to find commonality in that we are both believers! Their love for Jesus is so apparent through their work and day to day lives. It is so great they are willing to share that with those who interact with them or “follow” their blog, like me. Such a terrific husband and wife team!
